Hello all,
God has made us as worshippers. There’s something inside of every single person that wants to worship and give our praise towards. We give our worship to a whole range of things in this world instead of giving it to God alone. Unfortunately in our natural sense, our worship is broken and we chase after other things that can’t sustain us.
John 4:22–24 (ESV) — 22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
Jesus came to redeem us and bring our worship back to Him. It’s in Jesus that we receive the Holy Spirit so that we can now worship God in truth. That is true worship which brings glorious freedom to our lives.
