Hello all,
God’s plans are always on time and on track. God leaves nothing to chance and always fulfils His purposes perfectly. This week as we start the Gospel According to Matthew we’ll see exactly that, Jesus comes at the right time in the right circumstances.
Galatians 4:4–5 (ESV) — 4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.
The fullness of time had come in God’s purposes, so He sent His Son into the world to carry out those purposes. Jesus came in very unusual circumstances to rescue and save, to redeem and transform us. In the midst of pain and shame, Jesus called us to Himself to enable us to overcome this world and have eternal hope deep down in our hearts.
