Hello all,

One of the most beautiful attributes that the gospel grows in us is compassion. Compassion is the ability to see others in need and then be moved to do what we can to help in that situation. The parable of the good Samaritan taught by Jesus is a wonderful example of compassion.

Luke 10:33 (ESV) — 33 But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion.

When we see the compassion poured out upon us through Jesus at the cross, it should now be a natural outflow of compassion towards others as we see their plight. Compassion beats with the heart of Christ and seeks to show others what Jesus has done for us. The gospel grows compassion!
