Good afternoon all,

It feels like a funny weekend with our extended holiday, I’m enjoying it but it’s throwing my thinking out of place with what day it is.

Sometimes in this world, we find ourselves in desperately tough places where it feels like we are bogged down in despair. The Psalmist knows this place and wrote about it for us.

Psalm 40:2 (ESV) — 2 He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.

God always provides in every situation to lift us up or carry us through whatever we are facing. Sometimes God does this in mysterious ways that we had never planned. God knows best though, and He can be trusted!

This weekend at Exchange Church:

  • EC Sunday gathering @ 10:00am.

This week we are starting a new sermon series from 1 & 2 Samuel, God Always Provides. We’ll spend the next 10-12 weeks exploring what God has given us through 1 & 2 Samuel.

This Sunday it’s “Lifted from the Ashes”.

Please read through 1 Samuel 1- 2:11. It will be critically important to do the pre-reading each week as this will help you to know and see where we are going.

In His grip,
