Hello all,

Praise Jesus for His grace that enables us to live life fully contented in Him. We don’t need to look over the fence with eyes of longing wishing we had what other people have thinking if only I could have what they’ve got. If I had what they had then my life would be satisfied and complete, my cup would be full. If only!

Philippians 4:11–13 (ESV) — 11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

The Holy Spirit through the gospel sets us free from the false ideals of this world for where we think contentment lies. True life and contentment are found in Jesus Christ. When we discover Him we find all that we need both now and forever. Oh Lord Jesus, please help us to see that and believe that.
