Our Pastor, Todd Hall, is the Pastor of the Exchange Church. Todd was raised in a local Goulburn Valley family who are orchardists near Mooroopna. Brought up basically in a Christian family all his life, he has known what it is to follow Jesus nearly all of his days. Todd has served at the local Assembly of God church at various levels over the years, and has seen all facets of church and Christian life. Spending time from children's church to youth ministry to board level activities and everywhere in between. Todd is married to the love of his life Laurel from Kyabram and they have four children Brianna, Chelsea, Gabrielle and Elliott.
Todd and Laurel cherish their family and spend many a day at netball football or basketball coaching, cheering or supporting their teams on. Todd and Laurel have lived all their married life in the Shepparton community being involved in local fruit growing activities and also in many sporting clubs. They both love the Shepparton area and are thoroughly convinced that God has strategically placed them here to serve the community through the local church in the gospel.
In 2004 Todd experienced a severe back injury which God used to start him on a journey of passionately pursuing God. God tremendously used this period of suffering in Todd's life to light a fire of fervent pursuit of Jesus Christ. During this time also Todd came across the teaching of John Piper of Desiring God Ministries, this was a real undertaking of God's providence. John Piper helped Todd to see the sovereignty of God in all things in a whole new light and it was like the bible became a whole new book. This put Todd onto a solid reformed perspective of viewing scripture.
In 2008 Todd commenced Bible College studies with ICI Bible College in Bible & Theology and a year later 2009 after much prayer he felt a strong desire to plant a church in Shepparton to extend God's kingdom. The church commenced in 2011 and has been going faithfully ever since all for God's glory.
Todd's desire is to see people come to a living relationship with Jesus as the treasure of their life and grow in their knowledge of Him, and for the Exchange Church to reach out and plant other churches so that more people can find the joy of knowing Jesus.
